We discovered and still explore in the facilitation of Restorative Circle [RC] with Dominic Barter, its founder. Restorative Circles includes a specific restorative practice and is a community process for supporting those in conflict. It brings together the three parties to a conflict – those who have acted, those directly impacted and the wider community – within an intentional systemic context, to dialogue as equals.
This model can be applied in the field of family, workplaces, agencies and communities in general.

Intention

1) To restore what was lost around an event that stimulated pain, by arriving at an action plan.

2) To enable the same event to be seen from the perspectives of the different people on whom it had an impact.
